Obsidian Records is an art direction and branding project inspired by the physical properties of volcanic glass. As a visual designer specialized in the techno scene, I developed this identity to reflect the raw energy and abrasive textures found in industrial and experimental electronic music.

By merging minimalist typography with dark, industrial textures, the visual system establishes a powerful presence for emerging producers. The project explores the intersection of pressure and heat elements that define both the material of obsidian and the intensity of a late-night warehouse set.
